Datum360 and partner, FutureAim, host ‘Improving Digital Handover' workshops for the mining, utilities, infrastructure & energy sectors in:

We are bringing together some of our key customers to share their experiences and knowledge of using technology to manage and standardise information for major projects using multiple platforms.

Wherever you are (or whatever your role is) in the asset lifecycle (project or operations), come along to hear about the challenges and lessons of implementing new systems to manage data for existing assets and the benefits that can be achieved by doing this.

Sally Sutton - Principal Engineering Information Management - BHP

Sally is leading the digital journey on the BHP SABR project, this project enables a big step change in data collection and handover for BMA, and Sally is at the forefront of this new way of working. Sally is also a member of the BHP Global EIM working group, that are responsible for shaping the strategic direction of EIM for BHP globally.

Sally has extensive experience both in Australia and overseas in data projects, from leading large scale data migrations of complex systems, to being the OR representative and defining the data strategy for INPEX Masela FLNG FEED project. Sally has a background as a developer and is passionate about data and engineering information.

Steve Wilson - CEO - Datum360

Steve, CEO and Co-Founder of Datum360, has over 25 years’ experience working with engineering information in the process industries; he has in-depth experience of working with contractors and operators over many years and a good understanding of business process needs and system requirements.

Steve will share insights about emerging initiatives in our sectors that seek to deliver benefits leveraging Connected Data.

Andrew Russell - Lead EIM Systems and Improvement - BHP

Andrew leads the team responsible for the EIM systems and implementing the global EIM standards in WA Iron Ore.

Responsible for the systems, standards, people and processes to ensure information handed over from projects meets minimum requirements and existing information is accurate and can be found efficiently.

The team is driving improvement in the way WA Iron Ore Engineering manage our engineering information to match global standards and align with industry best practice.

Current improvement projects include data remediation through data scraping to capture new tags and relationships, the creation of dashboards to understand blueprint gaps, migration of the Smartplant system to the cloud and the creation of a process to manage concurrent projects working on the same blueprint.

Alex Stanojevic - Client Services Director - FutureAim

Alex has over 29 years’ exposure to the Mining & Metals, Oil & Gas and Infrastructure Engineering/Consulting Industry. Alex has worked in various capacities from BIM Manager and Engineering Data Management (EDM). He has experience utilizing major CAD packages both in the realm of 2D, 3D, 4D (Simulation), integrated Plant Design Systems, Document Management Systems and Engineering Data Warehouse solutions.

Blair Cheyne- Digital Engineering Team Leader - Sunwater

Experienced Technical Services Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the Engineering and design industry. Recently he has been responsible for developing the working environment of BIM and CADD within the Sunwater organization and works closely with business leaders to deliver innovative solutions to the ever-changing digital project /asset requirements.
