Training is underway for four of the team at Datum360 who are taking part in running events in August and September for our 2017 chosen charity, Daisy Chain.
Daisy Chain provides a haven for children and their families who are affected by Autism. The charity also supports young adults with Autism in the form of groups, employability courses and supported work placements.
Craig Howieson, Datum360 Project Consultant is limbering up for The Great Aberdeen Run on 27th August. Craig took part in a 10k run for our 2016 chosen charity, but he has a bit further to go this time, this one is a half marathon!
The rest of the runners have and extra week to get ready for the Tees Pride 10k, which takes place on 3rd September in Middlesbrough, home of our head office in the UK.
Peter Nathan (Mining Industry Expert), Elle Forrest (Project Consultant) and Karen Redfearn (Marketing Executive) are all running the Tees Pride 10k.

The 10k team is a mix of experienced and not so experienced runners (!), but everyone is training hard.
Prior to the latest running events, we have already made donations to Daisy Chain this year from Datum360 and from funds raised via bake sales and the Houston Marathon. We are aiming to raise at least £1,000 for Daisy Chain this year.
If you would like to support the running team with a donation to Daisy Chain, we have set up an online team page for donations which can be found here
Post run photos to follow!
